The Inn Church was born from a desire to see all people come to Jesus, especially those who think they don’t belong. We take it personally when someone claims, “They don’t belong in church.” Luke 10:25-37 tells of a “Good Samaritan” who helps a Jewish man left beaten and half dead in a ditch. Today, most people don’t understand the context of this encounter; namely the intense hatered Jews and Samaritans had for one another. To even mention a Samaritan in Israel at the time was taboo, yet Jesus not only uses the word Samaritan, He used them to show what love truly looks like, what being a good neighbor truly looks like. Taking Jesus' example, we have made it our goal to be a good neighbor not only to those who make it easy but to those who hate us, even when they’re messy, and especially when it’s inconvenient. The Inn Church was founded to be a place where everyone is wanted, and their welcome never expires. Here, you are welcome to stay.
